Advantages of Saltidin®

A comprehensive test program was carried out in collaboration with the EPA (the relevant regulatory authority in the USA) to demonstrate how safe Saltidin® is. The studies show that Saltidin® has no negative effects, and it was concluded that it:

• is safe when used as indicated
• is extremely gentle to the skin and not sticky
• has no irritating or sensitizing potential
• has a minimal rate of absorption
• is suitable for children aged 6 months and over

The effect of Saltidin® on various materials, like plastics, synthetics, plastic coatings and sealing compounds has been tested, as well. It was found that Saltidin® - in contrary to other insect repellents - has no adverse impact on  these materials.

The cosmetic properties of Saltidin® have also been tested. The results were remarkable: the formulations are not sticky, and have a pleasant feeling, being at the same time safe to use on the skin, as long as the instructions for use are followed.

Saltidin® has an intrinsic property of germ inhibiting activity, which is being confirmed in studies.
